Stone Horse Productions
StoneHorseProductions.net is
the home of self- taught, digital artist, Donna Moon. An equestrian from
youth, she realized early on a passion for motion and music. It is with these
two disciplines that she has bridged a love for horses and a desire to create
artwork that embodies poetry in motion.

A little history
“Shouting
at a Whisper” is the style of Donna Moon, the artist
and author behind Stone Horse Productions. Moon is an artist with a passion for
quiet revolution. Angry with the status quo of the political, male-centric
world and promoting a Re-Evolution, Moon seeks to find a solace within through
visual arts and writing. She urges people to “get off the grid.”
Since she was four, Donna Moon's world was a "world in motion from the
backs of horses." When tapes became portable--remember Walkman?--Donna
was awakened to a connection of movement and music that has driven her ever
since. Anyone looking for a new and unique voice in the art world need look no
farther than StoneHorseProductions.net and the art and life of Donna Moon. Extremely reminiscent of the angry
generation of the late 1960's, her art incorporates new technology and will
speak to disillusioned viewers of all generations. Her poetry tends to follow a
journey of reaching light out of the darkness of the past, and her art ranges
from darkly representational to computer graphics, with the two extremes often
combined. Her self-proclaimed mantra is, “Everything for my horses and it
is getting better by the nanomoment.”

Stone Horse Productions also has a very active channel on YouTube
where you can find a bevy of Donna's artwork and other multimedia fare. |
Movement: Movement is a key element in her blending of the three passions. She seeks
to find deeper meaning in every motion whether it is a precision command, such
as dressage with a horse, or the stroke of a paint brush on canvas.
Moon: Moon is a very private person who has been pursuing her artistic passions.
StoneHorseProductions.net is a bandwidth intensive web experience for the senses. She defines
herself by her art, and the biography page will treat you to a melange of images and sounds that offer you a glimpse of who she is on the inside rather than present you with dry
facts concerning her outer person. For example, a work entitled “Myend” is a self-portrait of an eye, conveying the
meaning of being “my eye” and “my mind.”
